Xeomin/Neurotoxin
Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA, also called botulinum toxin type A), is made from the bacteria that causes botulism. Botulinum toxin blocks nerve activity in the muscles, causing a temporary reduction in muscle activity.
Xeomin is the purest botulinum toxin on the market. Through a proprietary process, the excess proteins are removed from the molecule, thereby decreasing the possibility of an immunity response.
Xeomin is used to temporarily lessen the appearance of facial wrinkles (sometimes called "frown lines") between the eyebrows. Another specialty area this works well in, is the lip. It helps relax the muscles that help curve under when smiling. This is a great way to balance your smile!
